Rush at UT is extremely competitive. It's so important to go into recruitment being VERY open minded. Because rush is so competitive and everyone here is smart enough to get into UT, all of the sororities here are great and you will find amazing women in EVERY house. Be sure and manage expectations because unfortunately, not everyone who rushes at UT will get a house. Ignore the ridiculous "ranking" posts on this site. Of course, rankings are 100% subjective and obviously, you wouldn't be helping yourself if you choose your sorority simply because someone on this site proclaims a certain sorority a "top" or "bottom" house. This is college, not high school cliques. UT is extremely hard and four years is a long time, so really think about going into rush what you want/need in a sorority because your sisters will be your new support system. The "top" sorority house at UT is the one that fits YOU! The truth is, each house here has a different flavor, differing priorities and differing vibes. Do your research and talk to active greeks at UT to find out the vibe of each sorority and research each sorority before rush.
