Hundreds of UT alum disagree with you. You can say they're not a top house now, which is fair, but to deny their prestige in the past is just bs. The same goes for Phi Delt and Kappa Sig. Especially considering the reputation Pike and Kappa Sig have nationally as the two most popular fraternities along with SAE, Sigma Chi, and Fiji. Pike has the newest house in Austin and it is more beautiful than Sammy's. Why do you think Sammy paired up with Pike for Round Up? Sammy is a great fraternity but their house is too small and they know Pike has great relations with KD and DG. The only thing holding Kappa Sig back is that dorm-looking of a house they have. Aside from that, Kappa Sig would be elite. Delt and ZBT may get the most rushees because of their reputation but their houses are god-awful compared to Pike, Kappa Sig, and Sigma Chi. The mid-fraternities have more space for parties. ZBT also relies on Fiji for PKT to come. And to counter your argument. Pike now has between 110 and 120 active members due to their new pledge class. 120 puts them even with Sigma Chi and just 20-30 behind Kappa Sig and Sammy. And remember quality>>quantity. From 2014-2018 Delt had the most members. But no one in their right mind questioned Fiji's place at the top of the UT Austin pyramid. You can hate, but at least respect Pike and Kappa Sig.
