I think this is the general consensus of what the "mid-tier" fraternities at UT Austin are: In no particular oder Kappa Sigma Pike Sigma Chi Phi Psi Beta Theta Pi Sammy Great houses, great guys, great parties, can pull just as many girls. They're just not considered the "elite" 6 that includes Fiji, SAE, SigEp, KA, ZBT, and Delt. Btw just because a fraternity is "mid" does not mean it is ass. You will still have the best four years of your life in any of these "mid" fraternities. All mingle with sororities, pull for their parties, throw sick ragers, and are heavily involved on campus. The top 6 are just more established since they have reputations. They just have more guys that look and act like a "top house frat boy." But any of these "mid" houses could climb into the elite if they recruit well in the next couple of years.
