Snap bidding ends when bids are distributed on Bid Day. This is so the women can join their chapter on bid day with the other new members seamlessly. The Snap Bidding process takes place before bids are distributed on Bid Day and eligibility is limited to women, who participated in at least the first round of recruitment (I.e. Open House). These are women who dropped out of recruitment after Open House or were dropped by everyone which can happen if cross-cut or who ISP a chapter at preference. By definition most who ISP wouldn’t take a snap bid from any other because they only wanted the one house that didn’t take them. Snap Bids are coordinated and extended through the University Panhellenic Council, likely a Rho Gamma, prior to the distribution of bids and the start of Bid Day activities. Continuous Open Bidding (COB) begins as soon as Bid Day begins. @@@Your big six chapter was replacing seniors through CoB not Snaps. Snaps are to get you up to Quota. CoB is to replace lost members.
