The comments saying Sammy and ZBT have the most NE guys are accurate. That said, you shouldn’t limit yourself to rushing those fraternities. If you want to rush a chapter and you don’t know anyone in it, the best way to do it is to find their rush chair’s and/or president’s cell and just shoot them a quick text telling them that you’re from the NE, don’t really know anyone, coming to UT and interested in rushing. Since you don’t know anyone, you’ll definitely have to make a good impression on the rush team, but it’s certainly doable. I wasn’t in Sammy or ZBT and there were always a couple out of state guys in each pledge class - so very doable. You can find rush chair info by just googling “Texas sig ep” or “Texas ka” or any other chapter and going to their website. They should have rush info there. If not, contact the IFC and get the rush contact info for each chapter that way.
