I was looking up my daughter's sorority and ran across this site and I am shocked by the mean statements. My daughter was so excited to get into UT. She comes from a small town and went to a small private high school. She wanted to rush and is not a legacy and did not know anyone at UT or in Austin. She went through rush and had a very positive experience. After the open houses she told me how nice all the girls were in the different sororities and that she would be happy with any one of them. After the first cut she was asked back to 9 houses. Some that you all consider top tier, some middle, some lower. After the second cut she was asked back to six houses. Again, some top tier, some middle, some lower. On pref night she was asked back to 3. She really liked ADPi and was happy when she got a bid from them. She told me how nice everyone was in all the different sororities and how much work was put into rush. I would like to thank all of you for making her experience a positive one. I find it hard to believe that these same girls would get on here and say hateful things about other sororities. My daughter has met so many wonderful girls in her sorority and other sororities. She tells me how everyone gets along. You young ladies need to stay off this site and support each other. You all are smart or you would not have gotten into UT and you all do wonderful things in your community through your philanthropy. Prove UT has a strong and supportive greek system!
