What a weird post 1: you go to college to get a quality education, not for the Greek life 2: Greek life isn’t about parties and swaps, it’s about developing lifelong friendships with the sisters in your house. 3: The Texas Greek system is only about 5% of the total student population so it’s not that huge here 4: just because you’re in the sorority doesn’t mean the local chapter will let you affiliate, and even if they do, you missed being in a pledge class, which is where your friends will come from 5: if you go to Greek events after your sophomore year it’s seen as kind of sad, so you’ll only have 1 year of the real Greek experience 6: good luck transferring in, it’s not easy
