Here is the real deal. If you do not land in Big Six your life isn't over. The main difference will be which fraternity you are partnered with in activities. Everyone has parties, everyone has cute girls, everyone has smart Girls, everyone has cliques and Mean Girls. Another shocking bit of information is that not everyone goes in expecting or wanting Big Six. Sometimes people who are not overly image-conscious actually choose a sorority outside of Big Six.Now given the choice between Tri Delt and Alpha Chi(just an example), let's be honest, most girls will pick Tri Delt. Of course there isn't room for everyone so the girls that end up in Alpha Chi will be just as happy.Sometimes they choose Alpha Chi because of legacy status or friends or they just really clicked with that group. Same with all the sororities. LOTS of cross rushing. Also, it isn't that unusual to have, let's say, ZTA and Alpha Phi on your pref card. It happens. Quit worrying about rank and just have fun. Of course, there are some of you girls who have been told by your mamas that you have to be in XYZ sorority and you will be crushed if you don't make it. I'm sorry if that is your experience. You deserve better.
