No. It will not place you lower on the bid list as the chapters don’t know how you ranked your Pref card. However- suicide means a big chance of not getting a bid at all. You lose out on the potential to get your #1 as a Quota Addition by not maximizing your options. If both your Pref houses are at Quota by the time your name comes up on either list AND you maximized your options, you will be added to your #1 choice as a QA (unless the chapters are very different in size and then you would more likely be added to the smaller chapter regardless of your Pref ranking).
