I would actually wonder if it is the hiking in heals Coach. Who says ladies like that? Also, resumes matter but more because of WHO writes them than how they are done. I read my letter written to one of PKT chapters and it was very sweet but only special because the alum was a UT one who knew me very well. All of my letters and recs were like that where possible because I was told that is what they needed to be -and that sweet one worked! Letters and recs open the doors but then it Is up to the chapters. If you want someone to help you with small talk, resumes, clothes etc it might be worth hiring a coach to boost your self confidence and help with the details. Just know that those things really are not the most important parts. Social skills and connections are it at UT. If she wasn’t in PKT, she probably really won’t know how to or be able to get you into those. I don’t mean to be cruel, but there is very little interaction between the tiers at UT just because everyone runs with different fraternities. And as for the invite to Studio 54.....might be useful but might not too. Tons of girls go up there for those parties. Depends on which sorority you are staying with and if they introduce you around etc. if the girl you are staying with ends up loving you and you meet lots of people, that would certainly be helpful! It will be fun whatever though!
