Phi Psi should be on that list I agree they are not typical Greek boys....way too nerdy/awkward. However, have you looked at our student body? We do not have enough really social AND smart guys who would be your typical Greeks getting into UT anymore. We only have enough getting in to fill like two pledge classes (Fiji and Sig Ep). SAE is your “typical” Greek pledge class and more than half of them couldn’t get into UT! Do we really prefer that to guys who can actually get into UT? How sad. KA and Kappa Sig both have great guys but they aren’t typical frat material. Way too sweet and awkward but not quite as nerdy/awkward as Phi Psi and other mid tiers. Honestly, sororities are changing too though. PKT, Chi O and Zeta have mostly sorority girl types but the rest of the chapters have more smartish/nerdier types than social types. It is just too hard to get into UT these days. Our Greek life has to change. Typically kids in the top six percent of their class are NOT the best socially or the most beautiful. Different strengths....and that is good!
