I lived in Hardin and did not pledge 'top 6'-and it can be a hard place to live and some of the girls were not that nice! However, a lot of the girls were nice, so take that for what it is worth. Also, go around and look at the doors and there a girls in ChiO and TriDelta living there along with PKT and all other sororities! My best high school friend lived in SRD, and honestly everyone seemed nice there and it didn't seem to matter what sorority you were in, and that is 100% true. Also, there was a lot of party girls in Hardin, and that got old. I didn't like the food that much, but it saved me from gaining a ton of weight! I think the girls live in Hardin for the group of girls choosing to live there (and yes, my mom signed me up in elementary school for Hardin!). I don't regret living there, but it is not cute and the food is meh-and there were girls that loved living there. Take that for what it is worth. SRD, Calloway are great places, and as someone else said, visit and make your own choice!!
