Moms are the ones that want their daughters to live in Hardin (and most of the time those moms didn't even go to UT, but Hardin has a 'history'- and to some extent this is true for SRD, but I think the girls living in SRD are nicer). However, it doesn't matter where you live during rush (don't listen to the poster who says sororities cut if you live in Hardin, this is a lie). I have known girls who live in the public dorms and done great during rush, so that is an option too. Calloway is nice, but can be wild! Choose the dorm where you feel at home, once you visit all the dorms, you will know which one feels right.
