There is a house for everyone at UT. You have to open your eyes and close your ears under the tents between houses. "Tent talk" in my opinion is the number one reason girls drop out during recruitment. What might be a great match for you, may rub someone else the wrong way and their negative attitude could sway you and that is a big mistake. Trust me, you don't want to drop out if you can help it. Ride it out and see where you end up. Go to bid day and just because someone else thinks your house "is not that great" does not mean it is not outstanding. It means some insensitive girls decided her big mouth was so much more important to exercise than the preservation of some else's feelings. UT is filled with very strong houses. These camps are not so much about what they are, but the connections that are made when the girls attend. Some houses pride themselves on keeping a close knit group of girls that have been friends for a very long time. Others realize that people change and grow and that those girls might be a great asset.
