Not all the sororities that were once at UT closed because of numbers problems so don' t equate a group not being here anymore as being weak. AXiD has struggled for sure but they've done a lot better in the last couple of years. Honestly there are a lot of girls who would rather not be Greek than join but all of the sororities at UT are probably better than all sororities at a lot of other schools.
