90% of The University of Texas is filled up by the top 10% rule. It is state law. The reason why people say it was lowered to 8% was only because the quota was filled up before it reached 10%, not because the legislation was changed. That means there is 10% of available positions in which you are competing with kids outside of the automatic enrollment. In which, liberal UT gives these spots to minorities and out of state kids. So no, you are dumb.
