Everyone who gets into UT as a Freshman has good grades so it’s not a huge factor as a Freshman. If you’re a Soph or transfer, definitely above a 3.3 to be safe. Who you know, whether you can fit into the “lifestyle,” and looks are the largest factors that go into cutting first rounds.
