Current Miss Texas is very very fake. She promotes Anti-Bullying and acts like she supports PC culture and everyone belonging, but plays classic Mean Girl games. In the pageant community, very few people support her (opposed to Miss Texas 2016 who was pretty much universally adored). Her answer at the pageant was very calculated to be "news worthy" and "sensational" and she got her 15 seconds of fame.
