The original "Seven Sister" sororities that founded the NPC in 1902 are Alpha Phi, Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Pi Beta Phi. All the others came later. These seven are also known as the Edgewater Sororities and their leadership continues to meet in secret.
