Except that the people who go Greek at UT are not from uncompetitive podunk or inner city schools. They're overwhelmingly wealthy private schools or well-to-do suburb schools, and everyone's been able to afford an SAT tudor. No one here is a first-generation college student. With that being said, rich, hot Texas girls who couldn't get into UT go to SMU, TCU, or - god forbid - A&M. Ole Miss/Alabama is for girls with weird reputations or girls from fringe Old Money neighborhoods and suburbs who get snapped up by SEC top tiers.
