I am a UT and DU alumnus, 1964 to Jan. 1970. I pledged in the fall of 1965 and became active that next spring. DU was a great house. It led in academics from the early sixties and beginning in the class before mine, it led in athletics in many areas so don't talk to me about the DKE's, the Beta's, the Phi Psi's, and the Sigma Nu's; all good fraternities BUT spare me this crap about the KA's who we beat in football every year I was there and on Leon Street between our two houses when they shot beer cans out of their cannon at us. Big mistake. If you want to know about DU at Texas back in the day, get my book, "The Justin Gates Chronicles - Texas Daydream". It is on Amazon.com in both paperback and digital formats and has many stories about our fraternity, our history and the men who dated some of the best looking women on campus, sorority and non-Greek.
