To be honest, stay away from Greek rank during and before recruitment. This place is toxic. This may sound cliche but every sorority here is great in their own ways. I would say people would be lucky to be part of a sorority in this campus to begin with. The advice I can give you is to Keep an open mind and just try to go with the flow as much as you can. It's a long process that takes a lot of commitment, and I'm not just talking about Rush. If you're striving to be in a top house, get a lot of recommendations, and try to network with people who you might know. Even so, this doesn't guarantee anything. UT rush is very competitive, and not many girls get what they want (which is why you need to keep an open mind). Just make sure to keep your social media classy, keep your grades on track, reach out to the girls you know, and try to open yourself.
