<strong>Subject:</strong><br />rushing fraternities at ut <br /><br /> Poster Message:
i am currently a student at Texas tech. I plan on transferring to UT starting my sophomore year. I didn't rush at tech due to the fact that i didn't know if i wanted to stay and i wanted to establish my grades my first year because i know rush can have an impact on your gpa due to the time a fraternity requires. My question is how does joining a fraternity work at UT. I know at tech that we do formal with rush week and all that but i know UT does informal. Ive made friends with kids in a few fraternities here and i know id get a bid in one of them but UT was always the school i wanted to attend . I know a couple kids from my high school who are in fraternities at UT and I'm a legacy to two of them. I just want to know from someones personal experience the best way to approach rushing at UT. What are some good tips and what are some good events to attend and when does recruitment begin for UT. Since its informal i know you aren't forced to visit every house but what is a good way to get a chance to look at multiple houses to see what feels right? What are the houses that worth my time? My dad and uncles attend alumni events but id rather get a current students opinion on the current greek life at UT.
