zip code cuts aren't about determining if a pnm can afford a sorority; it's about getting rich girls. OOS girls aren't at a disadvantage with regard to zip code cuts, since actives can google any zip code in the country to determine if the pnm is from an affluent area. OOS girls need to network more to meet actives prior to rush, so they may be disadvantaged from that stand point.
