Well you obviously don't have a family with a long history at UT because you'd know that ADPi was once the closest middle tier to the Big Six and it wasn't all that long ago, maybe 10 or so years. Aphi used to be in the bottom, down by AZD, but their nationals put in place policies that put looks above anything else in recruitment for all their chapters and that's why APhi has gotten so much higher in the tiers and fraternities love them. That's been happening with them all over the country. It also means they take members they probably shouldn't just based on looks but oh well. DG has struggled a lot in the last four years or so. The way they've gone from upper middle to upper lower should be a lesson to everyone. Their biggest problem is they haven't admitted there's a problem among themselves and won't recover until they do. When it comes to getting into the middle tier and staying there, looks is the most important thing. Kind of sad and a lot of people will deny it, but when you don't have the background to be in the Big Six, there's really only one way to keep yourself in a position higher than the bottom, and that's by having the fraternities think you're hot.
