for starters, don't limit yourself to just "top" houses. you dont got here and haven't had any personal experience with any houses, for all you know you might really like the guys at Aepi or the Lodge, so look around all over. But past that, most good houses prefer to not give bids to sophomores but there are always exceptions. it just depends on whether or not you are a good fit. if you are, your sophomore status wont matter
