Agreed. If she drops, she may have taken someone else's spots be then you wasted all the time and effort of the actives. They took you because they like you, and want you! Good friendships don't always happen overnight. wouldn't take you if this is a bad fit. Did you get a sorority mentor? Most houses do that, does your house? That is a great opportunity to ask someone about this. Otherwise ask the house president - although that seems like social suicide, she can direct you on who to talk to in the house that will actually help you make the best decision for you. You put all this time in, just push through, you can always drop right before initiation. I also highly recommend to wait until after you get a big, she will be very helpful with this too. You need to remember that you have to reach out in your house too - you have to introduce yourself to people, fb/text to see what people are up to, and try to go to as many events as possible so that you can maximize your reach. Think of what the house and members have done to recruit you and your class. If you drop without giving them a chance, that would be unfair. They spend a lot of time honking about who came through their house when they pick members. Give it a shot, you may love it!
