Don't drastically change your appearance right before recruitment. If your nose ring gets infected or it looks weird because the piercer screwed it up, not only will it look bad but you will be distracted by being self-conscious. Plus, if you have to take it out during recruitment then you have a hole in your skin and it will look sloppy to have a nose ring hole without a nose ring in it. You might get shy or uncomfortable at houses too because of problems with the nose ring. Its just a nose ring, it can wait until a week after recruitment. Adding unpredictable variables into starting a new school, new living situation, AND sorority recruitment is a bad recipe. If you do this and it works out though that is fantastic! Why do you want it now rather than later?
