Actually, these rankings by tiers are fairly accurate. Of course where each house sits within the tier is totally subjective. Anyone who disagrees is probably an Aphi or Piphi--these are the social climbing tier/ranking obsessed girls. I also think you should keep an open mind while going through rush. However, I don't think there is anything wrong with doing some research beforehand. Getting to know the reps of the houses, talking to girls you may know already in the Greek system only helps you make an informed opinion. Then it should come down to where you feel most and feel most welcome while rushing. Good luck!!!
