Also, how prevalent is greek life on campus? At my current school only 18-20% of people are in greek life, but it has a really huge presence. Almost everyone who likes to go out is in greek life. I wish I had joined greek life here. It just didn't work out though. Also, people here are really critical of other sororities/fraternities. (For example, girls won't mix with certain frats because they don't think they're "cool enough.") Is that how it is at UW? From the people I know who go there, I'd say no. UW seems friendlier and more fun than the average school. I just don't want to transfer and be alone with nothing to do.
