Well, welcome to Madison. I'm glad you're considering being a part of Greek Life here. But let me say right away, be VERY careful about deciding or being "confident" what sororities you're interested in before you get here and see them all for yourself. You will hear the term "mutual selection" many times with respect to recruitment here, and that's what it is- a mutual selection process. You rank the sororities after each round, and they rank you. EVERY CHAPTER AT THIS UNIVERSITY IS IMPRESSIVE. Even the chapters that have 3 or fewer stars on here regarding "Popularity" are solid groups with great sisterhood, lovely historic homes, and plenty of opportunites for involvement during college and even after. Once you register for recruitment, you'll get a booklet that will explain the rounds, what people wear (usually fairly casual in the first two rounds- it will be HOT), and get information about selections from your Rho Gammas.
