I don't think disadvantage is the right word here at all. The Greek life system at Wisconsin seems to work pretty well by dividing up regional personality types if that makes sense. I know in state girls who seem like they're from OOS, and vice versa. It doesn't matter where you are from per say, I would say it matters more in what way you act/your personality. A lot of times that corresponds with where you're from, but I wouldn't say any house would really dismiss you at first glance because of where you're from.
