Some IU students have the "Only The Best House Or Nothing" disease during Winter Formal Sorority Recruitment. It is known to be contagious, especially among roommates/best friends, so even women who THINK they won't have it get it. This can cause a high drop-out rate among IU pnms. IU has also experienced the misfortune of bad feelings by pnms against their four or five unhoused, newest sororities. PNMs tend to drop from recruitment when those unhoused homes are all they have left as their recruitment invites. A third and lessening IU recruitment factor is that the RFM recruitment method was not completely used for a long time there, although that slowly changed and it's possible every sorority will take-in 60+ new members this year. Escaping To Wisconsin: none of that recruitment BS and drama is evident, we use RFM, and most Wisco pnm women end up in a satisfying sorority home.
