@mine In every sorority I know of, membership selection is a) dictated by nationals (consistent from chapter to chapter) and b) considered part of "ritual" and thus it's supposed to be kept secret. I think it's mostly a secret not because it's actually "ritual" but because they don't want PNMs finding out and getting freaked out on how they're being judged . . . although anybody who thinks about it for more than two seconds should be able to figure out how it works, honestly. A lot of people don't know it's supposed to be secret and they'll talk about it with other people, though.
