mine is very similar except we don't do that last part. We do, at the end of each day, have a "promo" time where we go around the room and everyone talks about their favorites and tries to encourage other members to meet the PNM they are in love with, which is really asking your friends to all briefly meet her and vote her high. Also, if my house, if you know a PNM outside of recruitment then you can vote on her even if you don't talk to her during recruitment. Also, a lof of houses make posters or etc. that advertise their favorite PNM or a good friend going through recruitment. Similarly, some houses post the reference letters that come in. Usually these letters aren't that informative but to help members focus the conversation to keep the PNM happy. When possible, in the promo posters and with the reference letters, a picture os posted of the PNM to help focus the conversation. And what I posted IS true and, yes, a initiated member would disclose this. In fact, I have friends in other houseS, we all shared stories becuase it was interesting to talk about, and all the houses do similar stuff. What the house does also depends on how much effort people want to make, hence some houses don't do this stuff. Also, it can be chapter dependent so that XYZ at Indiana does it but XYZ at UW Madison does not.
