Just give the houses a chance and trust the process. I wasn't super excited about the house I got a bid from but I kept an open mind and I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way. Also, gphi is right. Just because a house does continuous bidding or is considered "low tier" doesn't mean that they are just going to take someone to fill a pledge class. You get a bid because clearly someone connected with you and liked you enough that they wanted to give you a chance. If you're worried about the "prestige" of a house you're doing it wrong.
