Dues per semester usually range from $500 to $1500 depending on which fraternity you are in. Also there are many hidden costs. Some frats, your dues covers everything while in others dues might not cover formal or semiformal. Usually bot tiers are around $500 to $700. Mid tier is from $700 to $1000 and top tier is $1000 to $1500. That's not to say a top tier can't be $700 and a bot tier can't be $1200. It also depends on the number of active brothers. In addition some frats have a tier based dues where freshmen pay like $1000 per semester but then sophomore year it's $800 per semester. Junior year is $600 and senior year is $400. They do this as mostly underclassmen are involved in the fraternity so by lowering the dues over time, it encourages seniors to stick around the fraternity.
