Honestly, as long as you are confident you can dress however you want. Don't let the more "dark clothing/hipster scene" of Ann Arbor defer you from affiliating. If you strut around in Norts all year long though you will be cold (just a heads up). Since it is pretty much under 40degrees 85% of the school year.
