going through rush you may act like you dont care about ranks, but this will help you get through since you do. some notes: 1. most of the sororities above mid you need to know people to get into. i myself was on a few lists, created by frat guys, for sororites. dirty rushing is real, so dont be sad when you get dropped by a lot of houses after the first two rounds. it sucks, but every house has something good for you. this doesnt mean you cant get in if you dont, it just means its 100x harder. 2. every sorority has pretty girls. 3. every sorority has drama. 4. every sorority cares about school and partying. 5. every sorority has nice girls. what matters most is that you figure out what fits best for you. you wont care about ranks after the first month or two. TOP aphi: undisputed top, kappa and tridelt will try to say they are top but we all know that isnt true. they are a little c0cky, but who wouldnt be if they were in a D1 sorority? all of my friends in aphi have super strong friendships and are loved by all the frats. kappa: some will say tridelt is above kappa, but kappa realistically pulls better girls and has better frat relationships. they have a great sisterhood. the events are super fun and have relatively low drama. tridelt: the most unbothered of the top 3. i would say they care the least about their rank and have a great sisterhood. just beware living in bunkers. out of the top 3, i would argue that they are the most academically inclined as well. upper mid sk: although every person ive met in sk is full of themselves or rude, they are pretty and guys like them. love the drama they bring home though, keeps me entertained to listen to. axo: genuine girls that GAF. i have liked every girl ive met in axo. if looks didnt matter, theyd be above sk. aephi: some may say its a bunch of yuppy girls, but once you get to know them they are nice. super chill and great sisterhood. just not as "established" as those above them. mid dg: dg was so sweet through rush for me but just not the best fit. these girls know how to party and are well liked. the self proclaimed "bruh girls." strong bond and variety of girls to get along with. adpi: either mean or nice. no in-between. good sisterhood and chio: most people will say they are lower mid, but personal experiences have me putting them in mid. they are nice, academically driven, and stay out of drama. lower mid sdt: sdt hasnt been doing much in the past few years to grow, but they do stay out of drama. the girls are sweet but some are rude. they are happy with where they are and unbothered about ranks. zeta and gphi: I'd say they are on the same level. zeta is a controversial topic because theyve only been on campus for a few years. they just need to find their identity. ive also heard rumors of a lot of internal drama from zeta. gphi, on the other hand, is like a more tame zeta. they have their identity and sisterhood established. for these two, its just what fits best for you. upper low kd: genuinely just rude to almost everyone. they somehow have beef with every sorority, even if that sorority has not interacted with them. ive heard they do have a good sisterhood. piphi: these girls are sweet, but thats really it. not much to write home about. low agd: most of these girls are nice, but they are weird. the good thing about them though is they dont try to be something they arent. lower low deeph: might not even be a sorority within a few years. dangerously low numbers.
