SigEp is leading a nationwide transition from drinking clubs to a substance-free service organizations. This requires a philosophical shift in the membership and community. The National fraternity is supporting chapter leaders in Ann Arbor, who are really bought in to making SigEp a substance-free fraternal experience. We can be confident that SigEp is on the right path. It will somewhat different, and certainly a lot less risky social program than other groups, but it will be an even stronger brotherhood with real accountability when brothers make bad choices. This is what real leadership looks like, as we all know that SigEp "models the way" for others to follow.
