Things do change. There is no guarantee that a upper, middle or lower house will stay that way. Just because for name example only…Beta Beta or whatever the name--is top one year, they may have an off year or 3 and they no longer carry the weight. National presence or not. Same goes for the sorority at another university. They may be top there, but totally not top here. Both Frats and Sororities loose or gain ground. Just because your parents were in a top house in the 80's, does not mean it is the same now. It changes all the time…they just do not want to believe it. There is change in the middle and the lower as well, and it is naive to think it does not. Personally, I do not see the top dropping down dramatically, but the rep. fluctuates from year to year just all of the houses. There are few examples of losing a great reputation have happened this year at UM. Not naming them though. Truth.
