Only commenting bc i read this on a reddit thread of someone deciding between msu and umich literally today but according to a transfer from msu to umich, msu people hang out more often but umich people are more driven and involved (in more clubs, studying, doing research, etc more often). Thus msu is slightly more fun because people hang out more often, but umich is more driven. idk, i've never gone to msu but my opinion from going to frats/bars is that having fun depends on your attitude. Are you and your friends constantly complaining that the bar/frat isn't as lit as you expected or is too crowded? You're gonna have a bad time no matter what school or venue you're at. Or do you go in deciding you're gonna make it lit if it's dead or find a less crowded spot to dance if it's packed? You're gonna have fun no matter what. 95% about attitude tbh
