@also My chapter also has national reps come (as do most chapters), but they do not tell us who to drop and who to keep, that is up to us (unless is national policy like grade risks or something like that). Alpha Phi nationally seems to just be operating like this and i believe it is wrong. I believe new members should be picked based on a chapters values. I guess the easy answer is if you want to be a part of a chapter that picks you because you’re “hot enough” that’s up to you, but I would join a chapter who picks people based on how they fit their values, leadership potetnial, and personality.
