What's the problem with freshmen waiting until the winter to rush? They do it that way at a lot of strong colleges. Letting kids get adjusted to campus FIRST is better for everyone involved, isn't it? What are the downsides, in the eyes of chapters? Just p-ssed about a budget shortfall? P-ssed that the more freshmen know, the less they are to get involved in Greek life, or less likely to be pressured to join certain houses? I'm really trying to understand why waiting 3 months (January) is end of the world horrible to you guys.
