For all incoming “potential new members,” Greek rank is not important. Like at all. For sororities, you will rush all of the houses, and you will quickly be able to tell which ones are top tier and which ones aren’t. So there’s no reason to freak out about one persons opinion on Greek rank. And tier shouldn’t matter in your decision making, although it might. But in reality, whatever sorority that you decide to join will be the right one for you. You’ll meet great friends, have a solid sisterhood, and get to go to all the different kinds of parties. Also, if you’re a girl, you can literally get into any party, no matter what sorority you’re in! So just enjoy rush and don’t get too heart broken. You’ll be in the sorority that you’re supposed to be in.
