This is how mergers ALWAYS work. -The guys you take in will almost always be from a frat much better than yours. They will want nothing to do with you when they come in. They will rush kids just like them, and they will know who the "cool" kids and the "goobers" of your frat are -The new sororitys that you mix with will know as well. They will mostly associate with the new kids and will not give you a second thought. A lot of the original guys will realize this after about a year and won't bother coming to socials any more. Many will end up disaffiliating. -The kids who merge with you and the new kids they rush will become their own clique until you are pushed out or graduate Can anybody change my mind? I completely dont see the point to merging. You are throwing away your brotherhood for nothing,
