Yes DG likes legacies, but they still won't take them if they're not a fit. My little sister rushed at a different big 10 school and was dropped before pref from DG and in the end it was the best thing that could have happened. Totally think she would have made her own choice anyways, but she's a member of her exec board now and loves her new sisters and lives in the house and everything. She only has one friend in the DG chapter so clearly it wasn't a good fit. TBH if I had the chance to pick up and an amazing girl no one knew about before recruitment but I fell in love with versus a legacy I liked but could be meh on I would much rather have the first.
