Sounds like there is something strange about this story. Why would a national sign off on a long term lease if the membership dues/revenues couldn't support the operation unless they were willing to step in and support the operation until it was self sustaining? Maybe this is why the rumor started about 'pulling the plug' as the national wasn't willing to stand behind the new chapter. Does anyone know how long the lease is in place for? Trying to figure out if the national is going to cut and run and assign the lease to another organization. Think somebody should call the national to figure out how much financial support to expect. Awful feeling to have that the rug could be pulled from under you at any time.
