Yes, I'd say it's similar for guys as well. Although most guys seem much tighter with their fraternities and they tend to rent a house together. You still have guys that might be living with close friends in other houses, etc, but it's way more common for girls in sororities to live with girls in other houses. But I'd say that seniors (both guy and girls) are way less involved in their houses because they have so much real world stuff that is starting. They still go to formals because those are precious and few, but missing a mixer won't make you sad. And if you do go, you are just gonna talk "senior talk" with upperclassmen and not give a sh#t who is climbing or falling in "the ranks".
