Comment has zero to do with the new chapter - just want pnms to know about nationals management style and ethics. I was simply questioning what due diligence Panhel did to vet the national organization. The intent of the posting to was warn potential members what the national organization of AOPi is all about. Every local house has a national behind it. Some nationals are more supportive than others. The fact that the Cal issue is 'complicated' in no way takes apart from the fact that in retaliation the national PULLED THE CHARTER of the LOCAL and left the local sisters heartbroken and without a national organization. Any national that behaves this way in my opinion should be held accountable and any PNM looking at this organization should know that instead of reasoned discourse to resolve any issues with national AOPi to expect threats, bad behavior, lawyers and then having charter pulled. The message from national is always 'its my way or highway'! Beware.
